The Reality of Adopting Semantic Organization in Kindergarten Programs –A Survey Study-
Keywords:
Semantic Organization; Kindergarten; Programs; Educator; Kindergarten Child.Abstract
This study aims to examine the extent to which the semantic organization is implemented within kindergarten programs in Medea Province. A quantitative, descriptive survey administered to 35 educators across six public and private kindergartens. The findings, which varied in accordance with the proposed hypotheses, highlight a critically low rate of adoption: the integration of semantic organization into kindergarten activities does not exceed 30%. Moreover, the limited application observed was neither deliberate nor grounded in an informed appreciation of its pedagogical significance. Instead, it was characterized by a superficial use, lacking a coherent, cognitive, and functional foundation.
