Abstract

The current study aimed to identify the level of psychological flow among primary school principals in the city of Ouargla, using the descriptive analytical method and employing a questionnaire consisting of (40) five-point items, distributed across four dimensions. Its validity and reliability were verified, and it was then administered to a sample of (64) male and female principals in the city of Ouargla. After statistical processing using the SPSS statistical package, it was concluded that the level of psychological flow among the study sample was high. The results showed that the dimension related to clear goals obtained the highest mean, followed by the dimension related to the loss of the sense of time and self-awareness, then the dimension related to immediate feedback, and finally the dimension of immersion and concentration. The results also indicated that there were no statistically significant differences in the level of psychological flow attributable to the gender variable, and no statistically significant differences were found attributable to the professional experience variable.
