Abstract

Dealing with a cancer diagnosis impacts a person's mental and emotional well-being in addition to their physical health, making cancer a major problem. Because of this, cancer poses a serious danger to global health. In addition to conventional medical treatments, it is becoming increasingly clear that complementary therapies can help cancer patients live better lives overall. yoga's potential as an integrated therapeutic modality for improving symptom management and overall quality of life in cancer patients, as supported by both scientific study and practical application. Yoga, a timeless practice with roots in Eastern traditions, offers a comprehensive framework that addresses the many needs of cancer patients by integrating the mind and body. Aiming to enhance one's physical fitness, emotional fortitude, and sense of inner stillness, this practise incorporates physical postures (Asanas), controlled breathing (Pranayama), meditation (Dhyana), and mindfulness. that cancer patients face on a physical and mental level, and how yoga can provide some relief from these challenges.
