It involves the use of camera techniques, lighting, framing, composition, movement, color, focus, and visual design to communicate emotions, themes, atmosphere, and storytelling effectively. Through cinematography, filmmakers create visual language that enhances audience understanding and emotional engagement with the narrative. It not only captures images but also shapes the mood, meaning, and dramatic impact of a film. the role of cinematography in enhancing narrative expression and analyzes how visual techniques contribute to storytelling in modern cinema. various cinematographic elements such as camera angles, shot composition, lighting patterns, color symbolism, depth of field, and camera movement in developing character emotions, narrative tension, and thematic interpretation.
