Abstract

Sustainable and smart architecture represents a holistic approach to modern building design that integrates advanced technologies, environmental responsibility, and human-centered principles. With increasing concerns about climate change, resource depletion, and rapid urbanization, the need for efficient and intelligent architectural solutions has become more critical. This paper explores how smart technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT), automation, and data-driven systems can be combined with sustainable design strategies to enhance building performance and reduce environmental impact. It highlights key aspects such as energy efficiency, climate-responsive design, use of sustainable materials, and indoor environmental quality. The study also examines how these integrated approaches contribute to improved human comfort, well-being, and overall quality of life.
